Ex-pilote, Manou Zurini est le plus ancien des photographes de course automobile, notamment au sein de l’agence DPPI. Incontournable sur les circuits depuis le d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 60, beaucoup de ses clich\u00e9s ont fait le tour du monde. Aujourd’hui retir\u00e9 des circuits, il est un artiste sculpteur de renomm\u00e9e internationale et livre ici dans des l\u00e9gendes au cordeau, toute sa connaissance du sport automobile.
\nDepuis le volume pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 rejoint par Alain Pernot, journaliste ind\u00e9pendant et expert en sport automobile, qui sait transmettre ses connaissances pointues avec toute la passion qui l\u2019anime.<\/p>\n

The DPPI photo agency was born from the passion of a handful of men for photography and cars, preferably sports cars.\u00a0DPPI has endeavoured to share the daily lives of drivers and racing teams, from the roads or the circuits, with as many people as possible.<\/span>
\nWhether at Le Mans, in the hill races, or on the first circuits of what had not yet become the big bedlam of Formula 1, the drivers are accessible, welcoming.\u00a0They smile at the amateurs and the media, who are not yet legion, crowding at the edges of the tracks or circuits.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presentation of the DPPI agency archives through the hundreds of photographs published and commented on in this book by the photographers and protagonists of the time reveals a world of extraordinary human adventures around exceptional machines.<\/span>

A former driver, Manou Zurini is the oldest of the motor racing photographers, namely within the DPPI agency.
